Mangistaumunaigaz (MMG), a JV of NC KazMunaiGas (NC KMG), CNPC and PetroChina, operates 15 mature oil fields in west Kazakhstan. On average, MMG produced about 120,000 b/d in 2024-26, around 93% of which was from the Kalamkas and Zhetibai fields. This represented about 5% of Kazakhstan's gross liquids output in 2025.
