Maria is an oil and gas field located in the Haltenbanken area of the Norwegian Sea. It has been developed as a subsea tie-back to Åsgard, via Kristin. The Plan for Development and Operation (PDO) was submitted in May 2015.First production from Maria was originally scheduled for late 2018, but drilling efficiencies allowed the operator to bring forward the start-up to December 2017 and reduce development capex by 20% to approximately NKr 12 billion.
