Mars is the largest development in the deepwater Gulf of Mexico, consisting of a massive oil and associated-gas field and three satellite fields. It is located in the Mississippi Canyon protraction area in the Central Gulf of Mexico. The development incorporates two 24-slot tension leg platforms (TLPs).
