Mazarani is a small gas field in north-western Sindh province. The Mazarani development and production licence is located in the centre of the OMV-operated Mehar (Block 2767-1) concession. The field was discovered by Pakistan Petroleum Limited (PPL) in 1959 and brought onstream in June 2003. Gas from Mazarani is contracted to supply Sui Southern Gas Company Ltd.
