Asset Report
McKee
Report summary
McKee is an onshore oil and gas field in Taranaki around 20 km from New Plymouth. McKee and Mangahewa are adjacent fields operated by Todd Energy. Production from both fields is sent to the shared McKee-Mangahewa Production Station. Gas production from McKee is less than the Mangahewa field, which in comparison sees greater development activity. Discovered in 1980 by Petrocorp, McKee was the first significant oil field discovery in New Zealand.
