Iraq to offer 12 southern oil fields for development, with pre-qualification closing on 30 November 2016. The National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC) has opened the pre-qualification process for international oil and gas companies to participate in its upstream projects. Libya's oil production approaches 600,000 b/d as shut-in fields in the eastern Oil Crescent restarted production for the first time since 2014. Algeria’s NOC Sonatrach have announced that it has won an arbitration case against Repsol. Oman launches licensing round for four blocks: three onshore and one large offshore exploration block.
