Report summary
The Minerva gas field is located in the offshore Otway Basin, close to the coast of Victoria. The field was discovered by BHP's Minerva-1 in 1993. First gas was in January 2005 and production ceased in 2019. Decommissioning commenced in 2024 and continues through 2025.
