Report summary
The Mineral Resources and Petroleum Authority of Mongolia opened its first licensing round since 2016 and put 14 open exploration blocks up for bidding. Mongolia's first refinery is expected to be completed by 2025, adding 30,000 b/d-feedstock capacity. Foreign companies - Elixir Energy, Jade Gas, and TMK Energy - test CBM potential in the country's south.
