The Uzbek-Russian Natural Gas-Stream (NGS) JV operates a portfolio of gas fields and exploration acreage in west Uzbekistan. NGS' core assets are in the Amu Darya (Chandir field) and North Ustyurt basins (Urga field and Akchalak group). Gazprom and partners established the JV in 2016 after an open tender. However, Gazprom left the project in the early 2020s.NGS restarted production at Urga in 2017 and achieved first gas at Chandir in 2018. Future gas sales will peak at almost 160 mmcfd ...
