Neon and Goiá are part of Karoon's first operated development project in Brazil. The fields lie within the former S-M-1037, S-M-1101, S-M-1102 and S-M-1165 exploration licenses. In May 2018, the ANP approved the declaration of commerciality of Echidna and Kangaroo. Per Brazil's field naming conventions, the field names have been changed to Neon and Goiá.Neon is the anchor development. Goiá will be tied-back in a second development phase.
