Report summary
Niger, an oil producer since 2011, became an oil exporter in 2024. Production from the landlocked country was first achieved when China National Petroleum Corporation's (CNPC) Agadem development was brought onstream in 2011. Agadem remains the only producing asset in Niger and until 2024, all production was delivered to the domestic market.
