Report summary
The Njord oil field is in the southern Haltenbanken area in Mid Norway about 30 kilometres west of Draugen. Njord has been developed with a floating drilling and production platform, Njord A. Oil is offloaded to the floating storage unit (FSU) Njord B and exported via shuttle tankers. Gas is exported through the Åsgard Transport System (ÅTS) to the Kårstø processing plant and onwards to the continent. The Njord facilities are used as a hub for other nearby fields.
