The MEG Christina Lake Project is located in Alberta's Athabasca oil sands region, northeast of the Cenovus' legacy Christina Lake thermal project, and adjacent to CNRL's Jackfish project. The in situ project is being developed in several phases and uses steam-assisted gravity drainage (SAGD) technology.
