The North Madura II Production Sharing Contract (PSC) is situated offshore East Java, 6 kilometres north of Madura Island and adjacent to the Ketapang PSC. Petronas acquired the North Madura II asset through its subsidiary PC North Madura II Ltd in 2015. Three exploration wells were drilled: Bukit Tua East-1 in 2016, Taubah-1 in 2017, and Hidayah-1 in 2021. The latter discovered a commercial volume of oil.
