Country Report
Northeast region overview
Report summary
The Northeast is the Lower 48's natural gas powerhouse, producing nearly 40% of its gas supply, led by the Marcellus. The Utica shale is a multi-phase play, but is mostly targeted for gas. Development in the region is led by pure play companies and pipeline constraints remain a key theme in the region. We use our Lens dataset to outline key trends based on well level analysis and upstream asset valuations, including productivity, investment, value, geology, and activity.
