This weeks edition covers: In the UK, Europa Oil and Gas acquires Shale Petroleum for £1, whilst Cluff Natural Resources have received regulatory approval for its deals with Simwell Resources and Burgate E&P. Egdon Resources announces the confirmation of nine new onshore licences from the UK 14th Onshore Oil & Gas Licensing Round. Finally, Nexen have spud the exploration sidetrack 3/2-1Z well targeting the Komodo prospect in the Northern North Sea. In Norway, following the formation of Aker BP, the mid cap acquired eight licences from Tullow Oil. In the Netherlands Tulip Oil spuds exploration well Q/7-7 in the Southern North Sea.
