Octli, Cahua and Teca fields are located in the Salinas Sureste basin as part of the AE-0009-2M-Tucoo-X-01 concession offshore Mexico. The area is close to key onshore production fields like Rabasa and Cinco Presidentes. Octli, Cahua and Teca are part of group of 20 fields announced in 2019 Pemex as part of a strategy to revert production decline under the current president Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador administration.
