The Offshore South East Sumatra (OSES) PSC is one of Indonesia's largest offshore oil developments with over 1.5 billion barrels produced since 1971. Located in the shallow waters of the Java Sea off the southern tip of Sumatra, OSES is adjacent to the Offshore North West Java (ONWJ) PSC, also one of the largest offshore oil developments in the country. The two largest fields in OSES, Cinta and Widuri, are very mature and total oil output has sharply declined from its peak in 1991.
