OML 103 is a large block in the inter-tidal zone of the northwest Niger Delta. The block contains three discoveries: Bella, Ebisan and Toju Ejanla. In 1990, ConOil was awarded the acreage under Nigeria's indigenous programme. The licence was converted to OML103 following the discovery of Bella in 1992 and production started in 1995. Crude is exported via the Chevron-operated Escravos terminal, although production is now minimal and nearing cessation.
