Papa-Terra is a heavy crude oil field in block BC-20 of the Campos basin. The field lies at a water depth of 1,190m, 110 kilometres offshore. It was discovered in 2003 and was declared commercial in 2005. Production started in 2014 but reservoir issues prevented the field from reaching its full potential.
