Report summary
Parsian Gas is a grouping of four gas fields - Homa, Shanul, Tabnak and Varavi - located in the south of Iran near Assaluyeh and the Persian Gulf area. Tabnak was brought onstream in 2003 and together with Shanul, Homa and Varavi make a significant contribution to Iran's gas production. The fields are operated by the South Zagros Oil and Gas Production Company (SZOGPC), a subsidiary of the Iranian Central Oil Fields Company (ICOFC) itself a division of the National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC).
