Peregrino
This report is currently unavailable
Report summary
Peregrino is Equinor's largest offshore operation outside of Norway and is a key part of the company's global growth strategy. The field produces heavy oil and is located in the shallow waters of the Campos basin. The first phase is being developed using two fixed wellhead platforms, with production flowing to a 100,000 b/d FPSO. In order to maximise recovery of the heavy crude, long-reach horizontal wells equipped with downhole electric submersible pumps (ESPs) are being used.
