Report summary

The Pierce oil and gas field has been developed using a leased floating production storage and offloading vessel (FPSO). The vessel is the Bluewater owned and operated Haewene Brim (formerly known as Berge Hugin). The Pierce field incorporates Pierce South and Pierce North. Development approval followed an encouraging three month extended well test (EWT) in 1996. Commercial production started in February 1999.
