Pluspetrol is acquiring a 17.6% stake in the Peruvian gas and condensate Blocks 56 and 88 from SK Innovation for a total consideration of US$1.05 billion. If approved by the Peruvian government, Pluspetrol will hold a 44.8% operated stake in both blocks. Following the sale, SK Innovation will retain an interest in Peru's upstream sector with an 8.33% stake in the Pluspetrol-operated oil producing Block 8. Additionally, the company will keep its 20% stake in the Peru LNG plant, which is not part of this deal.
