Prelude FLNG - upstream
Report summary
Prelude FLNG is a floating LNG development which will be supplied from the Prelude and Concerto gas fields, located in the Browse Basin. We expect the Crux field will also be developed at a later stage as backfill. The Final Investment Decision (FID) was taken in May 2011. The initial development will consist of a 3.6 mmtpa FLNG vessel, 488 metres in length and 74 metres wide. The first LNG cargo was shipped in June 2019.
