The Primrose and Wolf Lake assets are located 20 kilometres apart from each other and 55 kilometres to the north of Bonnyville in the Cold Lake region of Alberta. The two areas were initially developed separately, but have been jointly operated since 1992. A number of different in-situ technologies are employed, of which the most widely used is Cyclic Steam Stimulation (CSS).
