PTTEP strikes big in Malaysia
This report is currently unavailable
Report summary
PTTEP has made a large gas discovery offshore Sarawak, Malaysia. The Lang Lebah-1RDR2 exploration well encountered 252 meters of net gas pay, and flowed on test at over 40 mmcfd. The Lang Lebah discovery is located in the HP/HT reservoir of the gas-rich Sarawak-Luconia-East Natuna basin, where a number of other high-profile finds have been made over the years. Located close to existing infrastructure, combined with strong demand for new gas feedstock into MLNG, means the commercial outlook is positive.
