Qatargas 1 (LNG) - upstream
Report summary
Qatargas-1 is Qatar's first LNG project and is a segmented LNG development. The upstream project (Qatargas Upstream) is operated under the terms of a production sharing contract (PSC) and involves the development of a designated sector of the North Field. The facilities comprise wellhead platforms (WHP) linked by pipeline to onshore wet gas receiving facilities. The PSC expired in December 2021.
