The Rapak and Ganal PSCs are located in deepwater offshore East Kalimantan, and contain several large gas discoveries including Bangka, Gehem, Gada, Gula, Gandang and Gendalo. Chevron, the original operator, had proposed several plans to develop the fields as a series of deepwater subsea tie-backs to floating production facilities located in shallow waters.
