Report summary
The Ringhorne Øst oil field is located to the north of the Balder and Grane developments. The field moved rapidly from discovery in 2003, through to Plan for Development and Operation approval in 2005 and first production in 2006. The field started producing via three extended reach wells drilled from the Ringhorne platform. Production is transported from the Ringhorne platform to the Balder FPSO for processing and export.
