S-1 and Vashishta
Report summary
The KG-OS-DW (IV) block is located in the Krishna-Godavari basin on the east coast of India. Three notable discoveries have been made on the block, namely the G-1, S-1 and Vashishta fields. The Vashishta field in located to the south of the G-1 field, and 19 kilometres southwest of the Kanakdurga field. The G-1/GS-15 fields were brought onstream in 2011 while ONGC has earmarked the S-1 and Vashishta fields for a cluster development.
