Sakhalin-1 Area
Report summary
The Sakhalin-1 project is operated by Rosneft, in partnership with ONGC and a consortium of Japanese companies. The contract area includes the Arkutun-Dagi, Chaivo and Odoptu (also known as Odoptu-More) oil, gas and gas-condensate fields. They are located on the Sakhalin shelf, 18-40 kilometres offshore, in ice-prone waters with depths of 15-65 metres.
