Report summary
Sangomar is a large oil and gas field in deepwater Senegal, 85 kilometres offshore. The SNE-1 discovery well in 2014 encountered shelf-edge Cretaceous oil and gas reservoirs associated with turbidite flows. Sangomar is under development, with first oil expected in 2024.The first phase was sanctioned in January 2020.
