SE Gobe
Report summary
The SE Gobe field is located in the Southern Highlands of PNG. It was discovered by MIM Petroleum's SE Gobe-1 well, which intersected a 45 metre gross oil saturated sand in the Imburu Formation. SE Gobe is split 59:41 between PDL 3 and PDL 4, as per a unitisation agreement effective July 2000. SE Gobe shares production facilities and infrastructure with the Gobe Main field, which lies in PDL 4. Gobe Main and SE Gobe were brought onstream in March and April 1998 respectively.
