Sirius (formerly known as Uchuva) is a deepwater gas field located in the GUA OFF 0 block in the Guajira Offshore Basin. The field was discovered by Petrobras in 2022 with the exploratory well Sirius-1 (formerly known as Uchuva-1).The asset is situated at a water depth of approximately 804-830 meters. Gas accumulations have been confirmed at depths of around 3,600 meters below the seabed.The discoveries in this area have an estimated gas potential of around 6 trillion cubic feet (tcf) in place.
