The Skjold field is located between the Gorm and Halfdan fields, around 10 kilometres south of the Tyra development, in the Danish offshore sector. The field has a naturally fractured chalk reservoir.The Skjold oil field was developed as an unmanned satellite of Gorm in the 1980s.
