Report summary
The Tangkulo and Layaran fields are located offshore Northern Sumatra, Indonesia, in the South Andaman PSC. Operated by Mubadala Energy, the field contains estimated gas-in-place exceeding 2 tcf. The development concept features an FPSO and FLNG respectively connected to a deepwater subsea system, with gas exported via pipeline to onshore infrastructure. FEED and contracting activities are underway, with gas sales agreements in place to supply the domestic market. First production is expected in the early 2030s.
