Report summary

The South Caucasus Pipeline (SCP) transports gas from Azerbaijan's giant Shah Deniz field to Turkey's eastern border. Shah Deniz is currently the only field to use the SCP. The pipeline exports gas through Azerbaijan and Georgia to a tie in with the BOTAS operated Turkish network.The SCP began operations in December 2006 upon commissioning of Shah Deniz Phase One.
