St. Malo (WR 678)
Report summary
The St. Malo (WR 678) field is a large subsalt discovery of Lower Tertiary age located in the remote southern portion of the Walker Ridge protraction area of the Central Gulf of Mexico. The field is being jointly developed with the Jack field using a Chevron-operated, floating semi-submersible facility, which arrived on location in March 2014. Development consent was received in October 2010 and production began in December 2014.
