Report summary
Statfjord is the second largest producing field offshore Norway to date. Operated by Equinor, it sits is in the Tampen area, immediately north of the UK's Brent field. Statfjord straddles the UK/Norway median line, and has been unitised between the countries. The field has been developed using three large concrete platforms and development activity is ongoing to extend the life of the field to the 2040s.
