Report summary

Tabasco has been developed as a satellite field within the Kuparuk River Unit on Alaska's North Slope. Tabasco began producing in May 1998. The field lies to the west of the Kuparuk field and is produced through the Kuparuk facilities. ParticipationConocoPhillips is the operator of the Tabasco field. BP, Chevron and ExxonMobil hold the remaining field equity. In 2000, BP acquired ARCO. In order for the deal to be completed, the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) required BP to divest ...
