The Tarkosaleneftegaz fields lie in the Nadym-Pur-Taz region of West Siberia. The two core producing fields are East Tarkosalinskoye and Khancheiskoye. Both are mature, with condensate and gas production in decline. As a result, recent investment has focused on developing oil reserves.NOVATEK's Purovsky condensate processing plant is located within the East Tarkosalinski block.
