Tatneft is the fifth largest oil producer in Russia. Approximately 50% of Tatneft's annual production comes from Romashkinskoye which is the third largest oil field by reserves in Russia.Romashkinskoye is now very mature, and production is in decline from the Devonian layers, reducing gas production.
