TotalEnergies operates the Tempa Rossa heavy oil field in the Basilicata region of southern Italy. It is the country's second largest oil development and is located close to the giant Val d'Agri project. At peak, we expect Tempa Rossa to produce 40,000 b/d of oil, as well as minor associated gas and LPG volumes, falling short of the field's original 50,000 b/d plateau target.
