The Greater Tortue Ahmeyim (GTA) project is a cross-border deepwater gas development, 120 kilometres from shore. The project is split equally between Senegal and Mauritania. It was discovered in 2015 and is being developed in a phased manner with a floating LNG solution. The first phase will include four production wells located in over 2,700 metres water depth, tied-back to a shallow-water floating production, storage and offloading (FPSO) vessel.
