Report summary
On 24 September, Total and its partners INEOS and SSE announced the Glendronach discovery in the UK West of Shetland region. The field is close to Edradour, part of Total’s flagship Greater Laggan Area development and contains estimated recoverable resource of 1 trillion cubic feet of gas (176 million barrels of oil equivalent). It is the largest UK discovery in ten years. In this inform we look at some of the key issues, a possible development scenario, and our early indicative valuation for the project.
