The Touat gas-condensate development is located in the Gourara Basin in southwest Algeria. Sonatrach discovered nine gas and condensate fields on the area, most of them in the 1980s. The fields hold gas reserves estimated at around 2 tcf, the majority located on the Oued Zine field.
