The giant Troll field is located in the Northern North Sea, 65 kilometres west of the Kollsnes terminal. The field consists of two structures known as Troll Øst (Troll East) and Troll Vest (Troll West). Troll is Norway's largest gas field and was previously a major oil producer. The field has been developed in three phases: Phase 1: Development of the Troll East gas reserves via the Troll A fixed platform, including the construction of the Kollsnes gas treatment plant at Bergen. ...
