State-owned Turkmenneft is Turkmenistan's dominant onshore oil operator. Its fields are located in the South Caspian basin in the west of the country. This report covers the majority of Turkmenneft's oil and gas deposits, with the exception of its leading Barsa Gelmes-Kotur Tepe project and its East Cheleken and Nebit Dag JVs with IOCs.Most fields in the Keimir, Korpeje, Kum Dag and South Kamishldzha areas are mature and are now highly depleted.
