The Ula oil field is in the southern part of the Norwegian North Sea, around 60 kilometres north of Ekofisk. Production started in 1986.Ula has been developed using three bridge-linked platforms for production, drilling and accommodation. Water alternating gas (WAG) injection is applied to increase oil recovery, with gas provided from Tambar, Blane and Oda. The field acts as a hub for these satellite fields.
