Report summaryThe Ula oil field is located in the Central North Sea, around 60 kilometres north of Ekofisk. The field was discovered in 1976, and was brought onstream in 1986. Ula has been developed using three bridge-linked platforms for production, drilling and accommodation. A Water Alternating Gas (WAG) re-injection scheme was started on the field in 1998 and it has proved successful.
